job description
As Sales Manager Benelux you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the commercial and marketing strategy for the Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourg market. This will be done in agreement with the global company strategy. You will work closely together with the regional manager, the marketing department, inside sales, product management, production, HR & senior management. As Sales Manager you will report to the Manager Southern Europe.
responsibilities
- As Sales Manager Benelux you will draft sales plans and consecutive operational budgets in close cooperation with the management.
- In addition, you are responsible for the realization of qualitative goals as specified in the sales plans; you guard these goals and adjust them when necessary.
- The coaching, developing and supporting of the sales team also belongs to your tasks. You assist your colleagues in defining and reaching their personal goals.
- Besides that, you initiate, develop and expand contacts with strategic customers, prospects and partners (purchasing groups, governmental parties and the market).
- You analyse results, identify opportunities and new projects (especially the development of new routes to the market) coherent with the company strategy.
- You track and control relevant market information and constantly monitor the competition.
- Finally, you are responsible for establishing and monitoring pricing and for handling complaints in cooperation with involved departments.

Education & Experience
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of working and thinking. A building-related study is a plus.
- At least 7 years experience in sales and presentation at customers is a requirement.
- In addition, you have at least 2-3 years experience in managing and guiding a team.
- You have a good network and you have knowledge of and experience with building material distribution, tiles distribution or sanitary distribution.
- Finally, you have an excellent knowledge of French and Dutch, and a working knowledge of English. Knowledge of the German language is a plus.

- Thereby you are also customer oriented and a relationship builder.
