In a nutshell

As Marketing & Sales Manager for the division Insulation you will be responsible for the development and growth of the local sales teams in North-West Europe. Your goal is to increase the reach and scope of Thermaflex, together with the local sales teams, for the marketing and sales of insulation products to the wholesales, project- and OEM-market. The main markets are heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), cooling, marine, automotive and the equipment industry. You are a skilled and project-driven people manager and a facilitator that is able to align the North-West European sales organizations (Dach landen, Benelux) to create commercial collaboration, synergies and ensure all parties work towards a common goal. Your range of tasks consists of both operational and strategic activities. You are also responsible for managing a number of Key-Accounts.


What are your responsibilities as a Marketing & Sales Manager?

  • Together with the CEO and Business Development Manager Insulation you will create and execute the strategic and operational plans for the expansion regions.
  • Within Western Europe you develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that provides a solid base for supporting the sales activities.
  • You execute the plan for achievement of yearly targets and KPI’s.
  • You will be responsible for the commercial results of the Thermaflex Group in the insulation market in the region N-W Europe.
  • You work closely together with the Business Development Manager and you will coach and develop the sales team and regularly share your success stories and weekly reports.
  • Next to that you will collate and analyse market information in order to obtain a clear picture of the overall market and market developments for future direction of the sales teams.
  • With your hands-on approach together with your team you will create new business opportunities and leads in the regional market.
  • Also, you maintain the relationship with existing clients within your region.
  • You give guidance and support to existing regions on Thermaflex operating practices, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and consistency in the N-W European organisations.
  • Lead an engaged, skilled & well performing team of sales representatives in the N-W European organizations to define and implement the strategic and operational plans (roadmap).
  • You are part of the Commercial Management Team, consisting of the M&S Manager CEE, the Business Development Manager and the CEO.
  • You will report to the CEO of the Thermaflex Group.


What is Thermaflex looking for in a Marketing & Sales Manager?

  • Bachelor’s degree (mechanical, industrial or commercial).
  • At least five years of work experience in (international) sales and people management.
  • Knowledge and experience in the (European) wholesale market for building- & installation materials would be preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and German, both oral and written.
  • Flexible to travel frequently (Domestic/International).
  • You are located in the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium.
