In a nutshell

As International Sales Manager Piping Solutions at Thermaflex you will be responsible for the sale of high-end and high-quality polyolefin pre-insulated piping solutions. In your role, you will create tenders for solutions that are applied in residential areas, commercial and public buildings and industries across the globe. You are a project-driven and practical advisor for both existing and new clients. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with all customer stakeholders in the Region (consultancy agencies, energy and installation companies). Next to that you are responsible for increasing sales and gaining market share. The primary focus of the Region will be: Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia, UK, Switzerland.

What are your responsibilities as an International Sales Manager Piping Solutions?

  • You will create and execute the strategic and operational plans for expanding new business together with the management.
  • You will set-up and maintain KPI’s for the commercial organization.
  • Prepare contracts, tenders and competitive bids to increase project sales in the Thermaflex core segments. Your core segments are district heating- & cooling networks, renewable energy sources and smart energy saving solutions for buildings.
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with key accounts and other important stakeholders.
  • Next to that you will collate and analyse market information in order to obtain a clear picture of the overall market and market developments for future direction.
  • With your hands-on approach you will create new business opportunities and leads in the Region.
  • You will be responsible for the commercial results for the Region.
  • You will cooperate and support the other regions of the Thermaflex group on Thermaflex operating practices, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and consistency.
  • Your goal is to increase the market share of Thermaflex in the pre-insulated piping solutions market and to define and implement plans that will enable this.
  • You are part of the regional Management Team of the business unit and you will report to their Managing Director.

What is Thermaflex looking for in an International Sales Manager Piping Solutions?

  • Bachelor’s degree (mechanical, industrial or commercial).
  • At least five years of work experience in (international) sales and people management.
  • Affinity with infrastructure for water, gas of electricity is preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch, English and German, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible to travel frequently within the Region.
  • You live at max. 1 hour’s drive from the headquarters (located in Waalwijk, the Netherlands).
