In a nutshell

As International Sales Manager Piping Solutions (focus areas are DACH, UK, Scandinavia and Benelux) at Thermaflex you are responsible for managing the Sales teams for the different countries. As you are a playing captain, you are responsible for increasing sales and gaining market share across Europe. You sell high-end PE and high-quality polyolefin pre-insulated piping solutions. You will create tenders for solutions that are applied in offices, residential areas, hotels, public buildings and industries across the globe. You are a project-driven and practical advisor for both new and existing clients. You will maintain and build strong working relationships with all customer stakeholders (consultancy agencies, installers and energy and installation companies).


What are your responsibilities as an International Sales Manager Piping Solutions?

  • As International Sales Manager Piping Solutions you will create and execute the strategic and operational plans for expanding new business.
  • Prepare contracts, tenders and competitive bids to increase added value project sales in the Thermaflex core segments.
  • Your core segments are district heating- & cooling networks, renewable energy sources and smart energy saving solutions for buildings.
  • In addition, it is your responsibility to maintain and develop good relationships with key accounts and other important stakeholders.
  • You will develop and carry out the plan for achievement of yearly targets and KPI’s.
  • Next to that you will combine and analyse market information in order to obtain a clear picture of the overall market and market developments for future direction.
  • With your hands-on approach you will create new business opportunities and leads.
  • Therefore, it is your task to manage, stimulate and manage the employees part of the Sales team in these countries.
  • Your goal is to increase the market share of Thermaflex in the pre-insulated piping solutions market and to define and implement plans that will enable this.
  • You are part of the Management Team of the business unit Insulated Piping Solutions and you will report to the Managing Director.


What is Thermaflex looking for in an International Sales Manager Piping Solutions?

  • Bachelor’s degree (mechanical, industrial or commercial).
  • At least five years of work experience in (international) sales and people management. It is preferred that you have knowledge of the German market.
  • Affinity with infrastructure for water, gas of electricity is preferred.
  • It is required that you are fluent in Dutch, English and German, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible to travel frequently (Domestic/International).
  • You live at max. 1 hour’s drive from the headquarters based at Waalwijk the Netherlands.
